🌿 Salve-Making Workshop: Healing Plants & Oils $69 • Saturday, August 9 • 10 AM – 12 PM • Mt Airy Herbs Studio Join us for a hands-on herbal workshop where you’ll learn to make your own healing salves using medicinal plants and nourishing oils. This class focuses on tried-and-true botanicals known for their wound-healing, skin-soothing, and bug-bite-relieving properties. We’ll cover: How to choose and prepare herbs for topical use The best carrier oils for skin repair and why they matter How to infuse herbs for maximum potency Step-by-step salve-making you can do at home The science behind why these remedies work You’ll take home: Two 1-ounce jars of custom-made herbal salve A salve-making handout with recipes and plant profiles New skills in herbal medicine you can use for a lifetime All materials are provided. No experience necessary — beginners welcome! Class size is limited to 8 participants to ensure plenty of individual instruction. Register early to reserve your spot! After 35 years of herbal experience and a lot of trial and error, I’ve learned which healing plants truly work—and how to prepare them for maximum potency. In this hands-on class, you’ll learn how to make powerful, effective salves using herbs grown right here at Mt Airy Herbs. We’ll explore which oils are best for extracting plant medicine, and you’ll receive a handout with the latest research on each herb we use.
